On 14th August Maharishi's 99th birthday was celebrated as World Peace Day in Karaikal. More than 40 Maharishi's students participated. Senior Perasiriyars(Professors) A/N Ramachandran (Founder Trustee) and A/N Singaravelu gave discourses on Maharishis teachings and World Peace. A/N Ramachandran explained the reasons for violence and lack of peace in the society. He asked the Maharishi's students to practice manavalakalai and spread peace around them.
A/N Singaravelu explained about importance of control of anger. He also asked for united and concerted effort in Trust activities. He shared his personal experiences with Maharishi.
Managing Trustee informed the students about the various effort taken by the Trust. He also wished that the new Temple of Consciousness for Karaikal will be in place for the 100th Birthday of Maharishi.
A/N Nakiran and M/s Bangalore Iyengar sweets were thanked by the participants for their kind support for the Trust.
